Ensuring that every child has access to a quality public education that meets his or her individual needs is a complex goal. Among other things, it requires cooperation among stakeholders, sound public policy, and adequate funding directed towards achieving specific objectives.
Thank you to all of our supporters who helped us defeat Referendum 1, the flawed voucher law that would have diverted hundreds of millions of dollars in public funds to unaccountable private schools. The decisive victory in the November election shows that Utahns want to see their tax dollars invested in public schools, where 96% of Utah children are educated.
